In today’s energy conservation is widely concerned in the international scope, and much attention. Especially metallurgical enterprises is the large energy consumption. Fuel consumption of metallurgical furnace is the largest energy consumption. However, fuel consumption is not renewable. How to adopt the reasonable design scheme and efficient use of energy, controlling the temperature of combustion in the furnace properly, it plays an important role in improving the quality and yield of metal heating, prolonging the life of the furnace body, reducing the oxidation loss, saving energy and reducing consumption.This paper from the view of saving gas fuel, on reasonable design the furnace temperature control system. Using the temperature control system composed of Siemens company S7-200 series PLC, Master communication method of the computer and programmable controller (PLC) temperature control system.
