Chapter 1:The problems of plastic food packages safety and the main factors caused such problems, dometic and international regulations related to plastic food packaging materials, and in recent years, applications and development of nanosilver composite plastic packaging in terms of food packaging, as well as the advances in the field that nanosilver and chemical additives in packaging have been reviewed. The research content and creativity in this paper were put forward.Chapter 2:Based on inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry approach to study the migration behavior of silver from nanosilver polyethylene plastic food packaging to food Simulants (3% (w/v) acetic acid and 50% (v/v) ethanol solution), discussed effect of time, temperature and food stimulants to silver migration, further used MigraSoft 2006 numerical simulation software to simulate the migrate value of silver and compared with migration tests results.Chapter 3:An ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry method for determining four chemical additives (Irganox 1076、Irgafos 168、Chimassorb 944 and Tinuvin 622) in plastic is presented; the sensitivity and accuracy were improved by optimizing the mass condition, chromatographic condition and matrix effect. The developed method was applied to the determine and migration tests of additives in nanosilver plastic packaging, discussed effect of time, temperature and food stimulants to Irganox 1076 and Chimassorb 944 migration, further used MigraSoft 2006 numerical simulation software to simulate the migrate value of Irganox 1076 and compared with migration tests results.Chapter 4:Based on inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry and ultra-high performance liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry approach to study the migration interaction of silver and additives (Irganox 1076 and Chimassorb 944) from nanosilver-plastic food packaging to food Simulants. The results show that early in the migration, the migration rate of silver was accelerated by additives and migration of additives molecules was hindered by silver; when both of them had reached equilibrium, both will hinder each other.
