Cold extrusion processing technology has been more widely used because of its advantages of high-quality, high-yield, low consumption and low cost, but the problem that metal cold extrusion forming required gigantic squeeze pressure greatly limits its application in the field of metal plastic processing. There are some direct methods to solve these problems by design more rational mold structure or develop better mold materials, the other hand, researchers find that introduce vibration to influence the stress state in the metal cold extrusion processing indirectly, which can also reducing the extrusion pressure. There are some major contents in the study that apply vibration in cold extrusion processing including that the study of theory of vibration machining, and that the selection of the type of vibration generators, vibration forms, the way of vibration applied and better vibration parameters, and that the study of impacts of the vibration machining.This paper select a kind of forward extrusion cup part as research object, and design a kind of electro-hydraulic vibration cold extrusion processing experiment platform with adjustable frequency and amplitude within certain range. Take the surface effect mechanism in the cold extrusion process with vibration as theoretical basis to analysis the vibration influential result in cold extrusion process with different frequency and amplitude.Introduce the basic theory and principles of cold extrusion technology, and mainly elaborate the surface effect mechanism in cold extrusion processing with vibration as the theoretical basis of the significance of the study.Design the experiment platform of cold extrusion processing with electro-hydraulic vibration, which consist of cold extrusion processing system, vibration generator system, experimental controller and data acquisition system. And mainly elaborate the work processing of the experimental platform to achieve the frequency and amplitude parameters adjustable within certain range.According to the research contents of this paper, design the experimental program under the allowed conditions of our laboratory equipment. Then do the experiment of cold extrusion under different vibration conditions, and collect the experimental data. Compare the rate of load shedding of different vibration parameters, and analyze the reason of the experimental result.
