Sensors can be found in almost everywhere in modern society,with the development of wireless sensor networks,a revolution is generated by applications based on internet of things(Io T) in many areas. Framework of Io T has important significance for the development of Io T applications.This paper designed a framework for smart device applications of Io T based on extensive analysis of the relevant literatures,this framework is studied and practiced in a project of smart ice cream machine.The main innovation of this paper is in the following two ways:(1) The design of a framework for intelligent equipment systems based on Io TThe framework is divided into four levels: Sensor layer,gateway layer,management layer and applicationlayer. The framework is applied in smart icecream machine system. This system can collect real-time running data of icecream machines,users can view the running state of icecream machines via smart mobile devices and the computers,maintenance staffs can also remote icecream machines for fault investigation by the system.(2) The design of a common platform for networking smart devicesCloud platform and management software are important supports to intelligent devices, this paper designed a more general service platform for smart devices, a lot of intelligent devices can be connected through this platform,and through the platform these devices could communicate data with each other. The platform does not have the equipment relevant,working as a communication layer, provides interfaces for smart devices and provide interfaces for upper management systems.
