The paper based on the background of soil pollution of old industrial area relocation, designs vertical soil leaching trial machine, and restores polluted soils.The paper first introduces the pollution soil leaching process, and simply introduces the content related to the solid-liquid separation of process, ultimately determines the solid-liquid separation method for spiral press. The design of spiral press device and water circulating device is mainly introduced, and the composition of the vertical soil leaching trial machine is introduced simply, including three parts: mixing system, solid-liquid separation system and water circulation device. On the basis of the design requirement, the spiral press device and water circulating device is designed.In the design process of spiral press device and water circulating device, the main works are as following:(1) The Dynamic parameters and movement parameters are selected.(2) The U type of paddle feed is determined ultimately, through the comparison of three different structures. Structure design of spiral press device is accomplished, and the assembly drawing is drawn.(3) Supporting frame and spiral entity is designed and spiral entity is carried on the stress analysis, strength and stability analysis, and spiral entity is analyzed finitely through the ANSYS software. The results show that: The spiral entity connecting with the shaft is dangerous area; In the axial direction, with the height of spiral blade decreasing gradually,the deformation of leaf gradually decreases. In the radial direction, the deformation of spiral blade increases gradually from inner to outside.(4) Based on the design of sedimentation tank and general sedimentation tank, the paper designs the tank structure with the characteristics of the two, and then completes the design of the water circulating device.(5) In order to determine the baffle horizontal distance, the simulation analysis of sedimentation tank three-dimensional solid model is done by FIUENT software, analyzing the effect of baffle horizontal distance on the velocity field and concentration field ofsedimentation tank. The results show that: when baffle horizontal distance between 60 mm and 100 mm, the sedimentation effect is the best.
