Reducing the filling cost and improving the economic benefits of cemented filling mining method, is the premise of cemented backfilling technology to promotion and development. By researching for filling material and mix proportion of filling slurry, the effective method to reduce the filling cost is choosing the filling materials of cheap and meeting the production requirement, and optimizing the mix proportion of filling slurry reasonably. This paper has combined with a copper actual, and research “the New Tailings Grouting Agent” instead of cement as cementations material of the tailings backfilling, which applied to the research on downward slicing drift mining with cemented backfill. Based on the research method, of which combined with the test, theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, we can draw the following conclusions:(1) Through the relevant mechanical test, under the condition of different cement-sand ratio and curing time, measure the uniaxial compression strength and tensile of consolidated filling body, between the New Tailings Grouting Agent and full tailings, and classifying tailings. The test results show that, under the condition of the same cement-sand ratio and curing time, the tensile of consolidated filling body which use the New Tailings Grouting Agent as the cementing material is higher than the tensile of consolidated filling body which use aggregate as classifying tailings. The former have to use the classifying tailings as the aggregate. Besides, in the early hydration water glue ratio, the New Tailings Grouting Agent could produce too extend reaction to influence the strength of the consolidated filling body in the future.(2) According to the process of A copper and the copper strength of consolidated filling body was used in long-term application, combined with the New Tailings Grouting Agent and classified tailings, and the strength of consolidated filling body under the condition of different cement-sand ratio, to draft two different alternatives with use the New Tailings Grouting Agent as tailing filling cementing material. Plan A: filling materials cement-sand ratio is 1:6 and 1:12. And then mix the filling amount of 1:1with filling stope face. Plan B: the cement-sand ratio is 1:8 and use filling material to filling stope face. Through cost comparison, filling per ton tailing filling cementing material, the Plan A could be reduced by 9.5%, but Plan B could be reduced by 8.4%.(3) Combined with the process of one copper downward slicing drift mining with cemented backfill, and confirmed by numerical simulations, namely, with the New Tailings Grouting Agent agent as cementitious material, Plan A and Plan B both filling can meet the recovery orebody of stope stability requirements.(4) Using the point of near explosive source and particle vibration velocity that monitored in the scene as the dynamical load, and through numerical simulation, we can get the following conclusion:There is similarity in dynamic character under the condition of blasting vibration between when we adopt Plan A or Plan B to filling by which use the the New Tailings Grouting Agent as cementitious material, the consolidated filling body and when we adopt to the original plan to filling by which use the cement as cementitious material. What’s more, tailings cementing agent as tailings filling cementing material could adopt to Plan A or Plan B to filling, both of them could use original engineering blasting design.(5) Through the hydration heat test, measured hydration heat value of the new tailing cemented tailings filling agent and cement. The former is far lower than the latter. Based on the value, and the termodynamic calculation and analysis, the results shows that nearly filling area temperature rise will be reduced by 64% when use the new tailing cemented tailings filling agent as cementitious material, and Plan A or Plan B both applicable. Rather than adopt to the original plan to filling which use the cement as cementitious material.
