A power supply monitoring system whose aim is to supervise and manage different power consumption equipment in the enterprise, is an important part to ensure saf e production of the metallurgical enterprises. Recently, when enterprises are trying to achie ve great-leap-forward development, more and more enterprises have a greater demand for electricity, especially for the safe and stable power supply system, so it is necessary to enha nee power supply monitoring system supply and distribution system to meet the demand of enterprise production. In this paper, a power supply monitoring system of a 220kV Main c ontrol building in a metallurgical enterprise is studied and the power supply automatic mon itoring system is designed based on a PLC main control equipment and a MCGS industrial control configuration software to complete the task of real-time monitoring power supply s ystem.In this article, the author first expounded on this subject at home and abroad related research dynamic, and a 220 kV substation metallurgy enterprises in Hebei province Shijiazhuang power supply and distribution system as the research object, has carried on the overall scheme design, and then deeply analyzed the 220 kV power distribution system, based on the calculate and determine the design parameters of 220 kV substation related weak electricity equipment, and its main circuit and control circuit of the system design. Then based on the monitoring and control system control mode of operation, the functional requirements, etc., the relay protection, power supply and distribution system design, lighting and security etc and finally with the PLC as the core is designed and developed, based on the MCGS configuration software platform for the automatic monitoring system of power supply and distribution system, to ensure the safe and reliable power supply production in metallurgical enterprises, improve the degree of production automation.
