Caprolactam is an important organic chemical raw material,. with China’s caprolactam industry is rapidly developing nowadays, the domestic caprolactam market is still in short supply, which depends exceptionally heavily on imports with huge market potential. As a result of a long, complex process with high product purity requirements, caprolactam production process, most of scholars of the world focusing on developing new craft of caprolactam. There are little reports on the separation of the key intermediate:cyclohexanone oxime.Currently, cyclohexanone oxime dealcoholization mainly uses distillation, with a majority of problems in energy conservation and low efficiency in tert butyl alcohol-water azeotropic system separation. To optimize the dealcoholization process it is in urgent need to anylised the micro mixing condition of the ternary mixtures in a distillation column or develop a new separation process. Cyclohexanone oxime, the key intermediate is found in a ternary system, whose liquid-liquid phase equilibrium (LLE) data determines separation limits, which is also the basis of separator design and process simulation.Using self-designed equilibrium still, the solubility of the components in cyclohexanone oxime-tert butyl alcohol-water system is measured by gas chromatography (GC). In this thesis, triangular phase diagrams are obtained at different temperature.Through the chemical process simulation software Aspen Plus, UNIQUAC model is used to regress the experiment data. To check the precision of regression, binary interaction parameters are obtained and RMSDs are calculated. The results show that the UNIQUAC model can be used to describe the LLE system and these parameters can be used to predict phase behavior of ternary systems.After research on LLE system in this thesis, the extraction process of cyclohexanone ammoxidation method for industrial production of cyclohexanone oxime is established based on the thermodynamic data and UNIQUAC Model, provided new ideas on cyclohexanone oxime extraction process.
