Studies On The Genetically Modified Food Under Risk Society Circumstances

In recent years, the study on genetically modified food becomes one of hot topics in social discussion. Genetically modified food, as a product of technological development, benefits people and brings risk to the nature and human society at the same time. On the one hand, people are facing the shortage of foodstuffs, on the other hand, we are suffering the influence of economy development. As a result, genetically modified food comes into being. However, with the investigation of the genetically modified technology, people realized the potential risks that brings about. Consequently, it is necessary to make relevant regulations to supervise the technology. This essay starts with the introduction of genetically modified food and explanation of correlative conceptions. Then analyze the risk of genetically modified food in a new angle.
