There is about 12% tea saponin in tea seed cake, tea saponin not only has biological activity such as anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, but also has stable emulsification, foaming, dispersion, wetting, bubble,which were surface activity, it is a kind of high performance natural surfactant.The material, tea seed cake was provided by Jiangxi GaoZheng Biological Technology Limited Company. Tea saponin was extracted from tea seed meal and applied in baby shampoo shower gel. Tea saponin extraction and purification process conditions were optimized, the main experimental results were as follows:(1) Through microwave-assisted ultrasonic with alcohol extraction of tea saponin optimum conditions experiment, the optimized condition has been obtained: ethanol concentration was 70%, and solid-liquid ratio of 1:20, ultrasonic frequency of 20 kHz, ultrasonic power of 1200 w, and the ultrasonic extraction time of 20 min, extracted twice, suitable instrument was ultrasonic extraction equipment.(2) The saponin extraction passed through ceramic membrane filtration, then nanofiltration membrane enrichment, tea saponin yield was 62.1%, the purity is 79%;Compared with 10 kinds of macroporous resin, adsorption and resolution effect of tea saponin by XAD-7HP macroporous resin was the best. To optimize the technological conditions, membrane separation and macroporous resin technology have been used, and we got the optimum condition: the gradient elution is 10%, 40% and 70% ethanol solution, the final yield of tea saponin was 55.3% and the purity was 95%.(3) Orthogonal experiment was applied to determine the total active matter and its components in baby shampoo shower gel: Cocamidopropyl betaine(CAB)was 13%, PEG- 80 sorbitan lauric acid ester(Crillet 180) was 7%, Dodecyl alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfate(AES) was 6%, the tea saponin was 2%, the quantity of total active matter was 28%. Glycerinum, tea oil, vitamin E were added in product two, which can protect the baby skin in the shampoo shower gel. Because of the differences in skin care ingredients, people feel slightly different by product one and product two after shower, product two was more moist smooth, and also more gentle, it is suitable for shower in autumn and winter; While the product one is suitable for using in spring and summer, it is refreshing after shower.
