In recent years, the CNC machining technology has been widely used in various fields of industrial control, especially in mechanical manufacturing industry. CNC machining technology has the following characteristics:the good flexibility of the processing, high processing precision, high productivity and is conducive to the production management modernization and economic benefit. At present, the engineers need to be familiar with the components processing and the machine operation specifications if they want to use the SIEMENS CNC machine tools to process or turn the element. So the requirement of the engineer is very demanding. Compared with the CNC machine tool, the simulation system can simplify the design process greatly. However, the CNC machine tool simulation software only presence in the terminal of PC, and because of the powerful function lead to high use of complexity, such as CAXA’s CAD software. So Siemens company CT department decided to design and develop a simulation system of SIEMENS CNC machine tool based on Android platform, to achieve the component design, component parameters, G code generation, tool path simulation and a series of related operations.The project is mainly divided into two categories, the main modules and the other modules. The main module contains six important parts. The other module contains some auxiliary and communication function, such as the user module, WI-FI transmission module, the synchronization module etc. The project implementation process mainly includes the demand analysis design, prototype design, architecture design, implementation, testing and deployment.My main work is determine the software to achieve the functional and non-functional requirements by analyze the characteristics of products and user characteristics. Combined with the general design of the system, analyze the overall function structure and system architecture, and then design the data structure and prototype map products. After complete the work, then concrete realization the work program, I was mainly involved in the implementation of the interface, the main interface module,2D module, contour process management and tool management modules, and some auxiliary modules and data modules are implemented.The results of the system function test shows that the SIEMENS CNC machine tool simulation system under the Android platform can meet the functional requirements based on the Beta version, and through the analysis of Android system memory usage, find out the memory leak points and to optimize the system. At present, the project temporarily in internal testing and trial stage, the company will put this system into the SIEMENS machine customer solutions as an important part, convenient for users to operate and use.
