In recent years, along with the human put salt minerals as important industrial raw materials, research on mining stability of broken jade rock salt cavern is also increasing,more and more thorough.This paper rely on Kunming salt mine project, using physical mechanics test, numerical simulation and so forth in ways to research the stability on vertical dissolved upward 50-100m, the main research work is as follows:(1)Collect and analyze natural geography, economic geography, geological structure, stratum lithology, hydrology, engineering, environmental geology and other aspects in study area,to preliminary understand the regional geological background of the study area.Through the project, hydro geological exploration, engineering geological survey,the strata in the study area, structure, groundwater type, containing (isolation) aquifer characteristics and groundwater recharge, runoff and drainage condition, engineering geological rock group, structure characteristic, the environmental geology and other espects have been basic identified.(2)By analyzing,testing and other works on all kinds of rock and soil sample,to obtain the physical and mechanical parameters of related engineering rock group and combined with salt cavern mining method and relevant dates in the geological conditions of the red layer to research on salt cavern controllability in process of mining,to reach the important conclusions in salt cavern mining controllability——salt cavern form can be artificial controled in production process to overcome the orebody itself intrinsic factors’ effects on salt cavern form,and external regulation plays a decisive role in the cavern form’s development.(3)Base on the geological environment the salt cavern located——known thickness of roof which is relatively integrity,high strength and bedding thickness,the mechanical and physical properties of rock,compare to existing five types of stability calculation formula in underground cavern roof,finally choose the plate beam theory to theoretical calculate the cavern mining stability.(4)Utilization of ANSYS numerical simulation software to calculate the cavern stability after vertical dissolved upward,synthesize the theoretical calculation and numerical simulation resultsjust make sure lateral dissolve do not occur in upward vertical dissolve process,ensure the integrity and width of ore pillar do not be reduced,and adjacent cavities are not connected,With the ore pillar size,after 50-100m vertical dissolved upward,the possibility of roof damage and the occurrence of the pillar’s general demolition is small,cavities are stable,expansion is feasible.Comprehensive predict in case of cavities are massively connected,range of surface movement is in a 400 metres radius around pithead.This research method and conclusion can be applied to the similar mining study,have certain reference value.
