Since the new century, development of new material and new material processing technology become more and more important. Since the advent of composite materials and its superior integrate nature, it has been widely used in automotive, aircraft manufacturing, shipbuilding industry, machinery industry and other fields. It also has been an important consideration of country and regional scientific technological strength. Laser processing technology as represent of the new technology, if successful applied to the preparation of composite field will be a very important meaning things.The main content of this paper include the following two aspects:(1) Using laser transmission welding to product carbon fiber reinforced polycarbonate composite material is a new preparation method. the equipment for the method can not find in the current market, so need research and development by ourselves. The development of new equipment tneed to be completed.(2) Carbon black commonly used in the laser welding process, and has the same laser absorbents characteristics with carbon fiber. The experiment replaced carbon fiber cloth with carbon black as absorbents and through the independent research equipment of Airflow pressed and laser scanning, made carbon fibers and thermoplastic resin materials become the carbon fiber reinforced resin matrix composites. By the bending strength test data can be seen that the laser scanning method can make carbon fiber reinforced resin matrix composite material achieved. Composite flexural strength comparison test by laser scanning transmission processing and conventional hot pressing process, and the specimens prepared by laser scanning, all verify that carbon fiber quickly absorbs the laser light converted into heat, polycarbonate (PC) and PC board melted again, filling the fiber cloth, and make the PC board and the prepared coupled as a whole, these are verify the feasibility of laser scanning transmission prepare composites.(3) Composite was prepared by airflow pressure and laser scanning equipment has less carbon fiber, low tensile strength, and gather strength between the layers is not ideal. In order to further increase the laser process apply in the process of composite material preparation, we design an experimental to combine laser processing technology with hand lay preparation to make carbon fiber composite material, the laser transmission scanning after processing molding paste solution, the method combine the traditional preparation of hand lay method and laser scanning technology.By comparing the experimental results of different resin concentration and processing methods, in the high resin concentration of sample preparation conditions, hand lay molding plus laser scanning technology with hand lay molding preparation bending strength increased by almost one fold. By laser scanning, polycarbonate composite material has been the consolidation of the inter will re melting, and infiltration into the fiber bundle and fill the void everywhere, not only the discharge micro pores matrix solvent left, but also increase the bonding strength of resin and carbon fibers, when poly carbon content between carbon fiber bundle and layer enough, will significantly improve the performance of the composite material.
