Nowdays, the cosmetics with Chinese herbal medicine additive market supervision is not strict, which makes the market chaos, the cases of against the interests of consumers have occurred frequently. This issue hindered the development of the field. The main reason lies in insufficient study on standard material. Therefore, the subject focus on the development of standard of Ganoderma lucidum. This topic through the choice of Ganoderma lucidum, according to the effective components of nature herbal cosmetics and the market. The content of triterpenoida in Ganoderma lucidum is high and can be detected by HPLC, the main triterpenoida compounds in Ganoderma lucidum is Ganoderic acid A. We also reference state Pharmacopoeia and other literature data, determine the effective component Ganoderic acid A marks for Ganoderma lucidum. Therefore, we take Ganoderic acid A as the representative of Ganoderma lucidum. We extracted through heating, extraction, normal phase silica gel purification, medium pressure, high pressure C18 reversed-phase purification preparation steps, after separation and purification of ganoderic acid A is obtained with a purity of 99% and the purity can be used as a standard product.Ganoderma lucidum has the following effect in cosmetics:anti cell aging effect, moisturizing, whitening, freckle effect, improve the effect of stratum corneum update and rough skin. Because the Ganoderma lucidum extracts in cosmetics in the role, which makes a lot of cosmetics add them as effective component, in order to strengthen the supervision of the cosmetics, protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers. Ganoderic acid A was analysed in cosmetics through the establishment of HPLC method. Ultimate LP-C18 (5μm, 4.6mm x 250mm) was used in experiment, acetonitrile and 0.5% formic acid were used as mobile phase,The detection wavelength:256nm,velocity of flow:1.0mL/min, column temperature:25℃, the peak time was about 40min. The results showed that Ganoderic acid A showed a good linear relationship in the range of 1.0-10.0μg/mL and the correlation coefficient was 0.9961. The recoveries of Ganoderic acid A spiked at different concentration (n=5) in blank samples were 80%-90.1% and relate standard deviations of the method were in the range of 1.7%~5.3%. The method was suitable for determination of ganoderic acid A in cosmetics. The establishment of this method laid the foundation for production and quality control and lay the basis for formulation of herbal cosmetics industry standard.
