The processing of machine harvested cotton play a very important determinant role to the quality of lint, the each machine harvested cotton and hand harvested cotton sample which after main process collected in Shihezhi and Alar cotton fact ory, the relevant quality indicators tested by HVI、AFIS,the article did some data analysis and did an important comparative analysis focuses on each process impact on cotton quality indicators of Machine harvested cotton processing in Shihezhi. The conclusions are as follows.The Shihezi harvested cotton processing reduced the lint cleaner cleaning intensity but increased the seed cotton cleaner cleaning intensity, which reduced the cotton fiber inherent quality damage during processing to some extent, but the reduce range is little, the lint has a higher impurity.The gin stand ginning process fiber quality injuries is the largest, accounted for more than 40% of cotton fiber intrinsic quality damage, especially after ginning seed coat fragment increase larger, should be given special attention.The storage yard harvested cotton has a higher impurity content, a higher moisture content, a relatively low reflectivity, but other quality indicators has a little different with hand harvested cotton. The lint grade one lower than hand harvested cotton, the seed cleaning intensity less than the half of the machine harvested cotton seed cleaning intensity, the lint cleaning intensity more than the half, the hand harvested cotton gin stand and lint cleaner has a high speed.The storage yard harvested cotton in Alar has a lower impurity content, a lower moisture content, but other quality indicators are lower than Shihezhi, the lint length one-level lower,short fiber index 3% higher,the breaking strength 2.08 cN / tex lower. The inherent quality indicators worsen greater than Shihezi during the processing, especially the lint cleaning has a greater impact on the fiber length and strength indicator.SEM scanning three fiber damage surface pattern and extent, the process of cotton processing machinery surfaces, mechanical point of fibers that would create tension, rubs, hooking, fold, twist tear, so that cracks, grooves, leading to a further effect of breakage of the fibers, this process reduces the ratio of fiber breaking strength, increased short fiber content, to reduce the average length of cotton; from the view of fiber breakage morphological in processing, the fracture forms caused by different action.The lint quality and the timing of cotton ginning and processing relative is closely.
