Refractory, high toxicity and bioaccumulation is the characteristics of Polychlorinated biphenyls. High temperature incineration and chemical catalysis as the processing technology of polychlorinated biphenyls are used in China as usual. Microbial degradation method is a research hotspot in recent years. The research reports on the degradation mechanism of low chlorinated PCBs good degradation bacteria has existed, but low temperature, anaerobic degradation of high chlorinated PCBs have rarely been reported.In this experiment, the polluted seriously mature microorganisms of WeiHe River as a source of bacteria in the sediment, Polychlorinated biphenyls as typical persistent organic pollutants, adopt the method of anaerobic degradation, for natural microorgani sm domesticated, Three Polychlorinated biphenyls strains were isolated from mature se diment degradation bacteria, degradation experiment under the anaerobic environment, t o get advantage degradation bacteria. Three strains(L1, L2,L3) to ten chlorine biphenyl as sole carbon source are screened after separation and purification by using the method of separation of the three lines. the degradation experiments of two strains(L1, L2,L3) were taking under the same conditions. The results showed that, L1 of ten polychlo rinated biphenyl degradation ratewas76.50%, L2 of ten polychlorinatedbiphenyl degradatio n rate was 64.67%. L3 of ten polychlorinatedbiphenyl degradation rate was 53.82%.Then th e L1 strains was considered the advantage bacteria. To study the advantage bacteria’s optimum growth conditions, it is respectively in different inoculation, different pH, deg radation experiment under different initial concentration of ten polychlorinated bipheny l, ten polychlorinated biphenyl advantage bacteria optimum growth conditions for p H value is7.0, initial concentration of ten polychlorinated biphenyl is 1.5 mg/L and the in oculation of bacteria is 8mL. The degradation products during the different degradation process was analyzed by using GCMS. The microbes will first degrade ten PCB redu ction for low chlorinated polychlorinated biphenyls(PCBS) under the condition of ana erobic, the corresponding degradation enzyme make low chlorinated compounds of pol ychlorinated biphenyls(PCBS) in benzene ring opening, after further decomposition reactions such as oxidation reduction and elimination,the low toxicity or non-toxic orga nic matter are generated。Facultative bacteria near the Wei He environmental conditions was screened In this experiment. And through the experiments had determined the optimal degradation condit ions, which can provid valuable information for ten polychlorinated biphenyls biodegrada tion. Also can provide a scientific basis for the agent.
