Children Seats Design Based On Material Properties

In the children’s seat design, the material, as an important factor in composition of seats design, is significant in improving the function of seat design and enriching the connotation of the seat design. With the progress of science and technology, people’s living standard is improving constantly too, at the same time, the competition of children’s seat market become more and more intense. In this context, only in this way that making the enterprise designers to realize that children’s seat design is not only setting a starting point from the shape and color, the more important thing is to pay attention to the exploration and the application of the different levels, the different needs, the different characteristics themselves, and the different emotional expression in the choice of the material can we improve the development of the children’s seat design market. Children,as one of the special groups used the seats, has its own characteristics both from psychology and daily behavior, which require us to apply the better material in seat design. Due to the requirement of children’s cognition of materials becomes increasingly higher, the requirements of selection of appropriate materials in children seat design are increasingly stricter. It is also very important that to study on the characteristics of existing materials. At present, the existing children’s seat is blind for the research and design of materials, which is lack of a correct design principle, and many designers still stay in shape, color, interesting design and cartoon seat design stage in the design of children seats, which is largely limited to the development of children’s seat market. This paper studies in the choice of materials and introduces the concept of the "emotional" material. According to the physiological and psychological changes and needs in children’s growth, and the research and analysis of the existing children’s seat market, we combined with the two fields of the design and the material of children seat to make a research to get the new design principles in the design of children’s seats. And then the children’s seats can be designed by matching the children’s needs, behavioral characteristics and the usage environment.How to rebuild the new principle of materials and user research,materials and the design of seats, through by the analysis on the demands for the seat of children,this special group,in psychological characteristics, daily behavior psychology and the using environment of children’s seats, as so as the lack of the existing seat on the material demand cannot fully satisfied the needs of materials in the seat design is the key point and also a major feature of this subject. It is also different from the past research field in shape and color of the children’s seats design so as to make the children’s seats design suitable for the practical application.
