Open pit mining plays a very important role in the economic construction of our country. But the open pit mining faces the situation of costs rising and the level of production management being urgent to improve. Therefore, the development of mining vehicle scheduling system that can optimize the mining vehicle scheduling and management of open pit mine has more and more become a realistic demand of China’s open pit mine. Practice shows that the implementation of optimized vehicle dispatching system can increase efficiency by 6%~32% and greatly reduce production cost of the open pit mine enterprise, and has become a priority to the development direction of China’s open pit mine enterprises. In this paper, combined with the actual production situation of open pit mining enterprises in China, the model algorithm for mining vehicle scheduling system of open pit mine has been studied and mining vehicle dispatching system in open pit mine has been designed. The main research work is as follows:First of all, the article makes a simple analysis on the open pit mine business process and production situation.Then according to the present open pit mining management situation of open pit mine, in order to quickly find the shortest path between two nodes in open pit mine road network, the article analyzes the traditional Dijkstra shortest path algorithm, and researches the improved Dijkstra algorithm according to its shortcomings. Then combined with the analysis of mine car planning on open pit mine, the article designs the open pit mine mining vehicle scheduling algorithm model.Secondly, on the basis of open pit mine mining vehicle scheduling algorithm, for the mining vehicle scheduling system of open pit mine the article makes the overall design and detailed design. According to the actual demand, the article designs center dispatching subsystem and vehicle terminal subsystem of open pit mine mining vehicle scheduling system. Vehicle terminal system is divided into mine car terminal and forklift terminal. The system is divided into vehicle scheduling module, electronic map function module and information management module in the overall function module.Finally, based on the algorithm and design of the system function above, using Microsoft’s Visual Studio IDE, the application software of mining vehicle scheduling system of open pit mine has been wrote and been implemented by simulation which verifies that the system can realize real-time monitoring and accurate positioning of the vehicle and can make an overall planning of production resources in open pit mine, and realizes the optimization of scheduling of vehicles, and improves the open pit mine management level and the utilization of mineral resources.
