The wet Electrostatic Precipitator(WESP)provides high efficiency control of submicron particulate and pollutions of gesso rain,and it is not affected by high resistance and secondary dust.Therefore,the technology has a great prospect in dealing with ultra-low dust emission of coal-fired power plants.The collecting system and emitting system are the central part of WESP.The paper started with theoretical and experimental studies on the application of collecting and emitting system in industry,and the result shows that the WESP technology can help the company gain economical and environmental benefits with core competencies.The paper started with theoretical study on operating environment and dust capture mechanism of the collecting and emitting system in WESP.The test analysis the electricity behaviour and corrosion resistance by using metal and non-metal materials in collecting and emitting system.The result shows that stainless steel is the best material used in collecting and emitting system to get a high efficiency;then by studying on corrosion resistance and prime cost of the 2205 stainless steel and 316L stainless steel,the paper gives the selection rule of materials in collecting and emitting system.By analyzing the arrangement,operating environments and the structure of the collecting and emitting system in WESP,the paper gives the optimum combination of using the individual and horizontal arrangement,and zigzag line matching positive plate.By simulating the operation of the collecting and emitting system experiment on the WESP model,the paper gives the reasonable range of flue gas velocity value and specific collecting area value in collecting and emitting system.Based on the study aforementioned,the paper offer some suggestions on the concrete industrial project,combining theory with practice for the extensive industry application in the collecting and emitting system of the WESP in future.
