As the main traction equipment in mine rail transport, the application of mine transport winch is extremely extensive, and the safe operation is relational to the mine auxiliary transportation. According to comprehensive analysis of problems which present mine transport winch is existing such as poor speed regulation performance brought by motor driven and differential speed regulation, difficult operation, brake easily abrasion and so on, a hydraulic motor mixed with motor driven transport winch is designed to replace the traditional transport winch and improve its disadvantages effectively.Firstly, the overall scheme of the winch is designed, including the driving scheme, mechanical transmission scheme, hydraulic system scheme, braking system scheme and so on. After determining of the overall scheme of winch, the transmission system of winch is designed and theoretically calculated in detail, the key stress components is statically analyzed by ANSYS, and the components of hydraulic system is selected and calculated.Then, winch system(mainly the hydraulic system) is being evaluated for its stability via establishing mathematic model of hydraulic system, making transfer function block diagram of system, and analyzing its stability. Using AMESim software to analyze the winch’s hydraulic and mechanical speed regulation system for verifying the stepless speed regulation performance, speed characteristics, braking torque characteristics, response speed and stability of the system. The efficiency characteristics of winch’s stepless speed regulation mechanism is theoretically studied, through analyzing power flow of mechanism by discrete graph method, drawing total efficiency curve of winch’s stepless regulation mechanism towards hydraulic motor speed, and combining curve to analyze working characteristics of winch and self-lock or not.Finally, the prototype of winch is manufactured and simply field tested and the winch’s various performance parameters is preliminary verified. It shows that the winch designing is reasonable and can meet the requirements.
