Automobile industrial air filter base paper is mainly made by natural fiber, which is almost not added filler and paper chemicals in the process, and not for pressure, thus filter base paper structure is loose, fiber strength is low, texture is soft, anti-waterborne is poor, strength is lower, the physico-chemical indicators do not reach as eventually products of application requirements. so, the filter base paper have to get for late processing. At present, filter paper impregnated emulsion is mainly used for the late processing of the base paper impregnation.The study is mainly to improve the key indicators as possible with the stability of common indicators, especially the dust holding capacity and filter efficiency indicators. The new filter structure design- adhesion structure design was proposed after comprehensively analyzing a variety of filtering mechanisms and drawing the equipment principles of oil bath filters on heavy trucks and mining of heavy machinery.Two-step Impregnation process was put forward by production of filter paper and paper coating technology. the first step is to improve the common performance indicators with styrene-acrylic emulsion, and the second step is to improve the key performance indicators with hydroxy silicone oil emulsion, Finally, to synthesized the hydroxy silicone oil emulsion and the styrene-acrylic emulsion separately in the experiment, and to determine the performance indicators after two impregnated filter paper, and to determine the dust holding capacity and filter efficiency indicators after the unification of the parameters in the MFP3000 filter test systemsy.Following the paper research, the first one is the synthesis of styrene-acrylic emulsion and hydroxy silicone oil emulsion, the second one is to improve the filter paper common performance by using styrene-acrylic emulsion, and then to increase its efficiency and key indicators such as dust holding capacity filter by using hydroxy silicone oil emulsion.Through the experiment, it can be concluded that the homemade styrene acrylic emulsion can significantly improve the filter paper bursting strength, tensile strength index, but for filter ventilation volume, average pore size, maximum pore size and other indicators have adverse effects and part to the filter efficiency and dust holding capacity of the filter paper. Self-made hydroxy silicone oil emulsion of filter paper has no significant effect on bursting strength, tensile strength, filter efficiency and other indexes, but has adverse effects on the filter paper air volume, average pore diameter, maximum aperture of indicators, however, hydroxy silicone oil emulsion can significantly improve the filter paper anti water performance and dust holding capacity, due to the natural anti water performance of hydroxyl silicone oil, the filter paper with good water resistance, especially through the use of adhesion structures, the filter paper dust holding capacity is greatly improved.
