To meet the management of antibacterial finishing of cashmere products and healthy green environmental protection requirements plasma was used as pretreatment for riching polar functional groups on the surface of the material. Then, crosslinking agents were added as permanent treatment with active materials for antimicrobial and mothproof finishing. And, non-toxic biogenic(chitosan, collagen) and botanical(eucommia ulmoides, cactus extract, onion bulb extract) materials had activity were selected for discussing the application prospect of natural materials in functional finishing treatment.Cashmere treated by low temperature oxygen plasma pretreatment can be obtained a very good hydrophilic, absorbing and releasing moisture and staining properties. The ability of instantly infiltration on the water can increase the speed of action happend between finishing agents and cashmere. Then, a good pretreatment effect for subsequent crosslinking finishing was obtained. On this basis, grafting reaction between cashmere fiber and natural biological(chitosan, collagen) and botanical(eucommia ulmoides, cactus extract, onion bulb extract)reactive substances was studied. Influences of basic control of reaction conditions(consumption, solution p H, temperature, etc.) on the results of the grafting reaction were discussed in detail through application of three different chemical crosslinking agent. After the modification process, samples in whiteness, strength and other regular changes in routine performance of cashmere were tested. On the basis of no significant change in strength was founded while whiteness appeared different degrees of decline.Proof provided by infrared characterization confirm the addition of new material. And eventually determine the response of grafting reaction through the observation of scanning electron microscope image as apparent ways. Finally, the application of grafting samples for preliminary discussion on its antibacterial, moth-proofing finishing was implemented as test evaluation. The results prove that, Cashmere grafted chitosan and eucommia ulmoides by TTMAP express excellent performance of antibacterial properties compared with collagen and cactus extract. The effect of inhibition against S. aureus is significant, especially for E. coli. And cashmere grafted onion extract by TTMAP can be obtained with a certain mothproof performance through test.
