Mining dump truck is also called off-highway truck, it is the main means of transport in large open-pit mine, water conservancy and other engineering. It is a pivotal role in our country’s national industry. The brake system of mining dump truck must be ensured a good braking performance under various working conditions and be ensured convenient operations and high reliability. However, due to the fatigue, mood swings, inattention of drivers and other reasons may lead to unnecessary accidents. Along with the advance of technology, unmanned mining dump truck was appeared, it has become the developing trend of dump truck. At present, electro-hydraulic control technology had been developing to digital. If the braking system can realize the intelligent controlling under electro-hydraulic automatic controlling system. And automatic braking system will not affect the effect of manual braking at the same time. It will make the safety performance and automation of dump truck have been promoted.This article is in such demand and background condition, the integrated use the research methods of theoretical analysis, simulation and inductive analysis etc. According to the existing classic full hydraulic braking system, to optimize and design the manual and electric double controlled hydraulic braking system, and have researched it. The main research works are as follows:(1) To select and analyze the main components of typical full hydraulic braking system, and explain their functions in hydraulic brake system.(2) To analyze several braking principles of classical hydraulic brake systems. To design the manual and electric double controlled hydraulic braking system, and got the manual and electric double controlled hydraulic braking system that can control the braking force not only by artificial controlling the size of switch pedal valve, but also by automatic controlling the size of current. The bigger force will have the effect. Two braking ways with the effect of safety protection, but without mutual interference. And analyze the hydraulic circuit braking principle of manual and electric double controlled hydraulic braking system under four kinds of typical braking conditions.(3) To establish the mathematical model of electro-hydraulic proportional pressure reducing valve and manual and electric double controlled hydraulic braking system. To simulate and analyze the static and dynamic performance of electro-hydraulic proportional pressure reducing valve by the MATLAB/SIMULINK software. To simulate and analyze the dynamic performance of the whole braking process of electric controlled hydraulic braking system.(4) To classify and summary various specific characteristics, problems and their solutions of braking conditions of the manual and electric double controlled full hydraulic braking system. Combining the specific problems with the hydraulic brake system. To conclude and analyze the intelligent braking strategies of the brake system under their corresponding braking conditions. And the related parameters of different working conditions have combined with intelligent braking strategies of the qualitative analysis.
