Hot continuous rolling is the production processes of rolling the ingot or billet into steel production, since twentieth century 80 time, compact strip production has been developed in the world steel industry because it has the advantages of short flow, simple and flexible production, good product quality. CSP hot continuous rolling technology is an important technology for producing metallic processing, its plate and strip rolling products are widely used in machinery manufacturing, rail transportation, automobile manufacturing and other major field.The roller is the tool of processing strip in the rolling process.The roller is mainly composed of a roller body and a roller neck and drive roller head, and the frame, bearing and other relevant subsidiary bodies are designed to device and adjust the roller and guide the work-piece into the rolling mill roll.In the process of CSP hot continuous rolling, the rolling mill will produce larger rolling force and torque, then,the roller will need to withstand relatively large bending stress,torsion stress and contact stress between the roll surface. Therefore,first of all, this thesis introduced the related theory of the rolling process, analyzed the situation of force in the CSP four roller mill and the elastic deformation and according to the material mechanics knowledge and Hertz formula,calculated the elastic flattening value and contact stress of support roll and working roll.Then, studying the system of CSP four roll mill,using proe software, the model of support roll and working roll is established, by means of abaqus software,add rolling force and bending force and other boundary conditions on the support roll and working roll, submit the condition analysis, judge the roll stress、 strain distribution and changing rules. In addition, comparing the result of finite element analysis and a series of grinder data,analyzed the influence on work-piece quality and the shape control performance to the wear of the performance of support roller,and aiming at the problems of wear of support roller, designed three different shape of support roller.Comparing the ordinary shape,greatly reduced the wear of the support roller and achieved good results on actual production.
