In recent years, with the development of technology of cold-rolled, cold-rolled steel strip with good surface quality and mechanical properties in more areas has been widely used. In order to meet the performance of downstream users, especially on the strip flatness quality requirements, and according to market changes the specifications, the UCM cold strip mill came into being. In this paper, a domestic UCM cold strip mill for the study, predicting and controlling for the mill during the work tapered roller and the work roll horizontal displacement phenomenon in thin strip rolling process, so that to achieve optimal flatness purposes.First,fully integrated equipment and process characteristics of the UCM cold strip mill,consider the actual situation of the scene, established a set of plate-shaped model which is suitable for UCM cold strip mill work roll horizontal displacement, the preparation of a set of simulation software,the work roll after the horizontal displacement, intermediate rolls and work rolls asymmetric contact taking into account, the previous flattening coefficient is not applicable here, and so established an asymmetric contact model, and use the software to simulate a variety of rolling parameters when considering the horizontal displacement of the work rolls the influence of shape on the board, for the actual production process flatness control provides reference data.Then, combined with the actual production,established a roller-type model and taper roller defects model after the cone-shaped model impacts on board, on this basis, the quantitative analysis of a single roller cone defects, paired tapered roller cone defects and multiple rolls defects affect three cases taper roller plate-shaped defects, came up with a six roller mill compensation model which is suitable for tapered roller diameter defect, and applicated to the production of a UCM cold strip mill practice, to achieve a on line roll cone-shaped defect impact analysis and online compensation, solved the mill of fixed amplitude unilateral shaped defects.Finally,applied the horizontal displacement of the work roll and the diameter roller cone model in this article to the UCM cold strip mill production practice, verified the flatness control results,get a good result in predicting the actual production flatness, effectively improved the flatness quality, achieved good economic results.
