Titanium alloy TC17 is a kind of close β titanium alloy. As a kind of metal materials with excellent properties, it is widely used in the aerospace industry and other fields. However, due to its small coefficient of thermal conductivity, low elastic modulus and high chemical activity. It existing some problems such as larger cutting force, high cutting temperature and the surface quality is difficult to control, those problems greatly restricted it widely application in the field of aerospace. Therefore, the research of titanium alloy TC17 cutting performance, the choice of rational cutting parameter, to improve the machining efficiency and machining quality of titanium alloy TC17 is of great significance. In this paper, by using the method of combining experiment and simulation, the research aims at studying the cutting parameters in high-speed milling process of titanium alloy TC17 cutting force, surface roughness, the influence law of cutting temperature. This article main research work are as follows。The orthogonal experiment of high speed milling of titanium alloy TC17 studied on the milling force in the process of cutting and analyzes the law of the influence of different cutting parameters on the milling force, finally established the high speed milling of titanium alloy TC17 milling force model experience.Based on titanium alloy TC17 high speed milling experiment, the article studied on the workpiece surface roughness after processing and analyzed the influence of different cutting parameters on surface roughness, obtained the optimum milling parameters combination, using multiple linear regression method to establish the high speed milling of titanium alloy TC17 prediction model of surface roughness.Based on DEFORME – 3D, the titanium alloy TC17 high-speed milling simulation model is established, through this model, the article studied the distribution of cutting temperature in cutting process, The design of orthogonal simulation test analyzed the cutting parameters on the influence law of cutting temperature in high speed milling process.
