The twin-roll strip casting is a kind of near net shape forming technology which production process is highly concentrated and the link between the process parameters is complex. Due to the issues such as strip breaking, edge crack, surface crack and center segregation easily appear in the process and the poor mechanical properties of strip. The results show that twin-roll casting system including tundish, distributor and delivery device has an important effect on the above questions. In this dissertation, an optimization research of delivery system for simulating AISI304 stainless steel strip casting process has been carried out by using the machine sizes and production process parameters of experiment twin-roll caster.Firstly, in reference to the optimization design of traditional strip continuous delivery system, the numerical models of tundish, distributor and delivery device with molten pool coupling with heat transfer, fluid flow, solidification are established by using the numerical simulation method and carried on the simulation research and structure optimization design.Secondly, three different schemes of adding diversion wall, weir dam, and turbulence inhibitor in tundish are studied by using orthogonal experiment, and through the the analysis of variance and combination of different schemes with considering the effect of flow-control and inclusion-remove, the combinations of the programs are optimized.Thirdly, the optimal structure at the bottom of the distributor has been set and the influence on delivery device with different forms of the single-immersion and double-immersion distributor has been studied respectively and a delivery distributor has been put forward and optimized. Through the comparative analysis, the optimized form of distributor and structure parameters has been set.Last, based on the optimized distributor and delivery device, building a roll casting molten pool model with distributor and delivery device. The structure parameters of long-slot delivery device have been studied and optimized. A slop-slot delivery device has been put forward and its structure optimizes by analyzing the disadvantage of long-slot delivery device, and the optimized parameters of delivery devices and the parameters of roll casting process have been studied and obtained respectively.
