Coal is the most important energy of China, and is so important to China’s modernization. If we can make full use of existing technology to carry out residual coal, it will be an effective way to address the sustainable development of the mine.This paper uses existing research results, with theoretical analysis and numerical calculation, combining Ruifeng Coal engineering practice, to study re-mining key technologies with super high water materials in thick seam coal mining conditions. Paper contains the following:1) Studies features of roof and residual coal in thick seam, gives the rock pressure law of work face;2) Gives a brief analysis and presentation of super high water material for its basic characteristics and strength characteristics, and also some introductions of filling system;3) Focuses on the key technologies, including the re-mining roadway layout, mining methods and techniques, equipment selection and matching, super high water material filling method selection and roof management, and particularly introduces a new hydraulic support which is suitable for thick seam super high material filling re-mining;4) With engineering practice, introduces the application of key technologies, and gives a comprehensive analysis of the project results through observation on surface mine pressure and other activities.
