With methanol production technology has become more sophisticated, developing downstream products of methanol has a great potential for industrial and practical significance. Methanol to Aromatics process(MTA) as a non-oil route plays an important role in the production of high-quality aromatics. ZSM-5 zeolite as a major catalyst for Methanol to Aromatics(MTA) caused great concern to researchers. ZSM-5 zeolites have an anisotropic pore structure, making large structural differences among different orientations zeolite and ZSM-5 zeolites with different orientations structures have different separation and catalytic properties. So study the preparation of ZSM-5 zeolite structure with different axis orientation has great importance for solving problems that aromatics stay too long time in the ZSM-5 zeolite pore structure and easily to coke.In this paper, adopted the method of hydrothermal with seed added, general ZSM-5、a-ZSM-5、c-ZSM-5 were prepared, and added a magnetic field in the synthesis unit, zeolite with b, c-axis orientation was synthesized, all ZSM-5 prepared were used in methanol aromatization and we found:1、Stirring reaction time, aging time, secondary mixing time was discussed. we found that change these conditions could’t synthesize ZSM-5 with axis orientation and ZSM-5 stirred 21 h, aging 5h has the highest degree of crystallinity, the most regular morphology.2、Paper discusses the influence of water added before crystallization on the ZSM-5 zeolite-axis orientation structure,found adding the right amount of water is in favor of the molecular sieve in a- axis oriented growth.3、The paper successfully synthesized spherical c-ZSM-5 zeolite by Butylamine, and synthesized wispy c-ZSM-5 zeolite composed of nanorods particles by Na F, Both ZSM-5 have mesoporous structure.4、Added a magnetic field in the synthesis unit, zeolite with b, c-axis orientation was synthesized in the position of the most parallel distribution; by examining the magnetic time, we found that adding a magnetic field at aging stage is in favor of increasing surface area and mesoporous molecular. Magnetic field strength has little influence for ZSM-5 synthesising by examining the magnetic field strength.5、ZSM-5 zeolite prepared in the paper were used in methanol aromatization. We found that ZSM-5 zeolite with an axis orientation has a higher conversion of methanol and aromatics yield than ZSM-5 zeolite with non- axis orientation,ZSM-5with larger surface area ratio and more mesoporous has better performance and longer life on methanol aromatization when they have the same axis orientation.6、ZSM-5 zeolite used in MTA were TG analyzed and we found axis orientation help alleviate carbon deposition of ZSM-5.
