Study On Concentrating Dense Medium Suspension Of Coal Slime From Distributive Qualified Medium

In recent years, large-scale, non-desliming, non-graded, non-pressurized feeding three product dense medium cyclone coal preparation technology has been vigorously developing, but the feeding property can not satisfied the demands of dense medium cyclone for coal slime and therefore the separation situation is unsatisfactory.In this paper, the characteristics of common coal slime dense medium process had been summarized. The main problem of this process had been analyzed. One way for optimizing dense medium suspension had been put forward, and the corresponding equipment--concentrating cyclone for dense medium suspension(CCDMS) was manufactured. The mechanism of CCDMS was researched and the test system was built. The feeding density, the parameters of the feeding pressure, the diameter of central tube of CCDMS was researched, and the influence of these parameters on the characteristics of dense medium suspension in CCDMS, and the superior parameters had been found finally. The result indicated, the concentration of CCDMS decreased with the increased feeding density, increased with increasing feeding pressure, increased with increased central tube diameter; the viscosity of underflow suspension of CCDMS increased with increased feeding density, increased with increasing feeding pressure, increased firstly and decreased then with increased central tube diameter, the viscosity is the highest when the central tube diameter is 35 mm; the magnetite content of underflow of CCDMS decreased with increased feeding density, increased firstly and remain unchanged then with increasing feeding pressure, the magnetite content of underflow of CCDMS is the highest when feeding pressure is between 0.08 MPa and 0.10 MPa, increased with increased central tube; the grading size of coal in CCDMS was influenced by feeding density hardly, decreased with increasing feeding pressure, increased with increased central tube; the grading size of magnetite powder increased with increasing feeding pressure, decreased with increasing feeding pressure, decreased with increased central tube. The possible deviation of separation of DMCCS is smaller when the feeding density of CCDMS is between 1.20 kg/L and 1.25 kg/L and is smaller when the feeding pressure of CCDMS is between 0.08 MPa and 0.10 MPa. Based on these results, the contrast test of separation effects of concentrated and unconcentrated dense medium suspension was made, and the separation effects were co MPared. The result indicated, the separation effect of concentrated dense medium suspension was better than that of unconcentrated dense medium suspension,and the separation size of concentrated dense medium suspension was smaller than that of unconcentrated dense medium suspension. The end, the improved coal slime dense medium process was put porward, that the separation effect can be improved, and the technological process was simplified.The research results of this thesis enriched and developed the coal slime dense medium process, provided technical support for the improvement of dense medium cyclone separation.
