Urban water environment is an important part of the city. Water quality, pollutants into the rivers and the status of the pollution were analyzed and evaluated in this paper through a series of scientific methods, then the corresponding measures were put forward according to the results of the analysis. It provides important reference basis to the urban water resources management and planning.Yixing belong to the C hina’s one hundred top counties with rapid economic development, with the speeding up of industrialization and urbanization, the local water environment changed dramatically, and at the same time, the shallow urban river water, slow velocity and indefinite flow direction increased water pollution situation seriously and had brought certain influence on the local residents of production and living situation. Yixing is located in the Lake Taihu upstream, the literature data show that the special address location makes Yixing city account for about 50% of the total the water pollutant load in Lake Taihu, so it is very necessary to master the pollution characteristics system of the region water environment.Take Yixing city for example, this paper combined closely with the construction of urban water environment and water quality improvement technology to analyze the characteristics of urban water pollution laws. According to the reality of the Yixing water management planning and construction, in this paper Yixing pollution source and pollution status of water environment were calculated basis on the research of Yixing local natural, social, economic, and environmental pollution; And the factor analysis, clustering analysis and multivariate statistical analysis have been used to determine the Yixing space-time change law of water pollution and the main pollution factor. The results show that:(1) Success rate of water quality in Yixing was low, COD、NH3-N into the river discharge were larger for non-point source pollution among water quality pollution sources, water pollution was serious.(2) From the analysis on time distribution, the seasonal changes of comprehensive pollution index were significant. The total pollution level followed this trend: third quarter> second quarter> fourth quarter> first quarter.(3) The results from cluster analysis showed they were classified into two groups according to pollution degrees of these rivers. the main tributary of water volume was small, the velocity was relatively slow, lack of unicom with other water system, and were influenced greatly by the life point source discharge and the hybrid junction rain pipes.(4) Space factor analysis and pollution source analysis res ults showed that the area of the first and second groups of monitoring sites were nitrogen and phosphorus pollution, organic matter was at second level. Water in the area are at risk of high frequency algae outbreak in summer.At last, through the established model, combining the evaluation results with Yixing water environment function requirements, control measures of water pollution remediation and the corresponding protection measures were discussed of Yingxing. Results of this study provides certain basics theories to solve the water ecological system imbalance of Yixing city, and it provide significant guiding to optimize the local living and investment environment, and to achieve coordinated development of social economy and water environment.
