| Traditional processing methods may produce much manufacturing deficiency in various degrees. However, abrasive flow polishing, which is a new polishing method, could be capa ble of polishing precisely on complex surface or rounding and has a better process consistenc y than the traditional ones. Just because of these advantages, this excellent processing metho d received much attention in recent years.In abrasive flow machining process,any of the parameters would impact the polishing effects and the qualities of machining are undefined. In order to explore the influence factors of abrasive flow machining on surface machining qualities and uncover the mechanism of coupling effect with multi-parameters, CFD software, Fluent, has been adopted for simulating the machining process on one-way valve. The effect of machining parameters on machining process was numerically investigated in this paper. In addition, the inner-outer effect factors of abrasive flow machining have been analyzed in coupling. Then, the corresponding relation between particle diameter, particle volumetric fraction, abrasive velocity and abrasive viscosity has been pointed out. Furthermore, the optimal machining strategy of these effect factors has been put forward. |
