Recent years, safety accident in mine happened frequently. There are many reasons to cause the coal mine accidents, including the unsafe behavior of coal mine workers, production equipment and safety protection facilities, etc.The author has been engaged in the research and development design of explosion-proof electronic products in coal mine for many years. The purpose of this research is to reduce the risk of coal mine safety.The quality management of Small and medium-sized enterprises R & D project has a great risk. Through the study of Small and medium-sized enterprises’s characteristics, the author knows that the Small and medium-sized enterprises in the coal mine development projects have their own problems and shortcomings. And the author’s enterprise M company R & D project quality management for investigation and analysis, find out the existence of small and medium-sized enterprise project quality management errors and loopholes in common. Through the application of M company’s quality management method, which makes the Small and medium-sized enterprises have a bottleneck in the future development, and can not break through the research and development project quality management to get the corresponding mitigation, and in the face of customer’s quality requirements continue to improve the quality of preparation. The author hopes to improve the competitiveness of enterprises and improve the competitiveness of enterprises.This paper first analyzes the problems of the coal mine product underground explosion-proof environment, including five aspects:personnel, machinery, materials, law, environment, etc. Through the investigation and analysis of the five aspects of quality tools, the reason of product quality problems is obtained by the method of survey and arrangement. And then analyze the causes of product quality problems and find that the quality of products is the weak link in the process of research and development.Secondly, through analyzing the customer demand, summary of the first generation, the second generation product defects, and from product design with four stage quality to strictly, respectively, and the application of the method of QFD and Kano, DFMEA, DFX, the quality management of the whole process of product design, will these methods achieve mastery through a comprehensive study of the subject in the project research and development of the whole process. Through the development process of a comprehensive, system management, to optimize the product design process and implementation process, improve the proportion of product success, solve the problem of the scene.Finally, the proposed method is applied to the actual explosion proof power supply development projects. The results show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
