| As a traditional Chinese medicine, peony root plays an important role in antibiosis, antiinflammation, anticancer, allay fever and so on. In this article, we carried out a systemic study on peony root. First, the efficient ingredients in peony were separated by Silicon Column and TLC method and Paeonol was discriminated by IR spectrum. Volatilizable parts were obtained through water vapor distiliation, and they were analyzed by GC/MS in order to identify their structure formula and ratio. These compounds were reported for the first time. Then paeonol- ~ -cyclodextrin were synthesized to increase paeonol抯 solubility. Second, optimal extraction condition of paeonol were acquired by Supercritical CO2 Fluid Chromatography, and at that time extraction rate is 94.1%. Third, antibiosis experiments of paeonol were made on coliform; paeonol抯 bactericidal action on coliforni was reported for the first time, especially on old coliform. Finally, the anticancer activity of the ingredients in peony root was studied by MetAP2 method. Two components that have strong anticancer activity were found and their optimal extraction condition and structure were analyzed. |
