Research on Rolling Process for Strengthening CrankshaftChamper and Design on the Numerical Control SystemThe rolling process for strengthening crankshaft champer is thebest way to strengthen the surface of crankshaft champer at the presenttime. By this way, the fatigue life-span of crankshaft would increaseobviously, furthermore, the good quality of surface can be acceptedafter the rolling process if the choosed parameters are rational and thelubrication is good, the rolling champer can meet to the require ofthe surface quality and does not need to be ground finely, thus,this Process is propitious to enhance the productivity and reduce thefinal cost.In this paper, the throughout and overall studying on it iscarried out.The optimal mathematical model of rollers' tangential cuttingchamper is established on the basis of kinematic analysis of champerrolling machining, and the software about it is worked out to designrolling parameters of N4850Q crankshaft.This paper offers a practicalmethod to select the rolling process parameters.This paper applies the theory of comparative cylinders and thus themechanical model of the rolling touch issue is established. Also, theplasticity deformation in rolling process is discussed, the necessarysteps is scheduled. Through all these way, the total strength in N4850Qcrankshaft rolling is calcullated.Ths paper applys the stress-state-chart into contact issue for thefirst time, and proves the exiting plasticity under the contact surfacefrom the theoretic angle. Based on the analysis of stress under thecontact surface, the mechanism of the friction is studied elementarily, and thus, the approximate formula of the force from friction is putforward.Established in above theory, the parameters related to rol1ingProcess in the design of the special rolling machine tool for N4850Qcrankshaft and the deformation through the axes is divined.Finally, in this paper,the panoramic design on numerical control inN4850Q crankshaft ro1ling machine tool is laid out, the numericalcontrol plan is studied and the procesure 1ist is studied out infavorof the design of software and hardware in numerical control system.
