The Study on the Question about Turning Floury into Resources from the Rare Earth Hydro-Smelting in SiChuan According to the problem in the prevailing rare earth hydro-smelting process in SiChuan province that the low recovery of CeO2, the serious acids base salt and floury pollution caused by using much of chemical material. We put forward a new technology route of the rare earth mine containing floury carbon and cerium hydro-smelting in order to make floury into resources . In this technology , it combined the separation of cerium with turning floury into resource . this reduced the process procedure and the use of chemical material . It also decreased the pollution load of the acid base and salt and lowered the pollution of floury . It supplied a new technology for the scientific utilization of the rare earth resource in SiChuan province. In the rare earth hydro-smelting process, it is important that the determination of floury from the producing process and the product . In this paper, we also studied on the analysis methods of floury from the rare earth hydro-smelting process . We used the low press ion chromatograph(LPIC) to determine the floury in the solution containing sulfate acid and in the CeO2 product and get the same result determined by spectrophotometric method and the floury ion selective electrode . We also simultaneous determined the Fand S042 in the CeO2 product by low press ion chromatography . The recovery was over 90% . The detection limit of Fand 8042 was below 0.1mg/i. It has provided a new method of analysis floury for the rare earth hydro-smeiting film and the relative analysis department.
