This article makes an analytic study on the density of S02?NOx and TSP that were monitored in Lanzhou from 1997 to 2000.Then we can obtain the rule of atmospheric pollution. Density of SO2 and NOx reduce from January to April , From April to October they are invariability. They increase from October to December largely. From March to May and from October to December the density of TSP is larger than those of in other month. For a whole year, the higher density of SO2 NOx were monitored iii spring and winter, but the lower ones in summer. Density of contaminants reduce from 1997 to 2000.They are the highest in 1 997.It is shown the measures controlled atmospheric pollution have done some effect. Evaluing every contaminant of lanzhou by single factor model. The daily mean density of 502 in winter exceeds the second grade of the Ambient Air Quality standard of China. It is the lowest in summer, at the same level in spring and autumn. Density of NOx is larger than 502's in every season. Density of NOx is highest in winter. Except in the writer in 1997 density of NO doesn't exceed the standard. Density of TSP is larger than those of SO2 and NOR, It exceeds the standard in every year. Calculating 481 factories?equal contaminants value and arranging these factories in degree of seniority order. In 1999 the discharge of waste air, soot, 502 . NOx.CO is respectively 72.675billion Nm3,4 I .4kt,50.8kt,52.3kt,236.9kt. According to the statistic constitution of energy consumption in Lanzhou. It shown that coal (bil, air) stands 73.98%(l9.~7%, 6.16%)of the total energy resources. The natural gas pipe will be constructed by 2001. It will e used as fuel, raw material in chemical technology and generating electricity. Moreover , it can be used by resident and vehicle. After using natural gas, the constitution of all of energy consumption will be changed, coal (oil, natural gas, air) stands 45.28%(25.95%, 22.89%, 5.98%)of the total energy resources. The scheme can reduce the density of SO2 NOx and TSP by 29.88%,27. 1 6%and 71.64% respectively. According to the special geographical environment and climate feature, We select the box model to predict the air quality, then revise the result by law of average. The result shown SO2 (NOx and TSP) reduce 0.0269mg/rn3 (0.0130 rng/m3aiid 0.0328mg/rn3), The density of total contaminants won't exceed the second grade of the Ambient Air Quality standard of China. So using natural gas can improve air quality remarkably. Moreover the article discuss the atmospheric environment impact of centralized heading system, gas and briquette schemes, planting tree and solar energy electricity heating schemes.
