A model and a FORTRAN program have been developed for simulating FCC main fractionator.The Segment and Sum of Rates(SR) method are combined in a new way and provides good convergence. This model can be adapted to all kinds of reactive products and various operating conditions.Reactive products is described with 53 pseudocomponents chosen on the basis of TBP curve that is obtained from TBP of productsSome product quality correlations were developed for the implementation of product design.A FCC main fractionator was used as an example. Calculated and measured results of temperature and flow profiles and the ASTM data of product are compared. |
