Based On Fuzzy Control, Intelligent Flash Welding Control System Developed

The Intellectual Control System of Flash Butt Welding, the main and basic part of the Flash butt welding machine, is the basic to realize the automation of the welding process.In general, it's a Distributed System .The application on PC, which programmed in C++Builder5 and the Database developmental tools, supplies the interface of man and machine. The core of the system is a Fuzzy Control System, witch is a embedded System based on MCU(MCS-51), program in C51. The communication between the PC and MCU is realized through asynchronous serial port in RS-232-C protocol.Further more, the Fuzzy Controller realizes the control of the workpiece feed speed and the welding heat through the fuzzy control algorithm according to the current, voltage parameter and the displacement parameter feed back.The hardware and software design is described in detail in this paper. The overall design has been tested hi simulated conditions, followed the practice hi fact. It is proved that the plan and control idea is original and available.
