This thesis is mainly a detailed introduction of the process for preparing TONALIDE by two steps: preparing HMT by using six-carbon-olefms and p-cymene as materials ,then preparing TONALIDE by acylation of HMT with chlori-acytyl.In the part of preparing HMT, the thesis did research on the preparing process of using isobutylene , 2,3-dimethyl-butene-l , 2,3-dimethyl-butene-2 as the materials respectively .Then using GC-MS , the main outgrowths in each reaction systems were analyzed.In the part of isobutylene producing HMT, through single-factor-experiments , the best reaction condition was found as : the quantity of aluminum chloride was about 4g; the drop-wise time was about 60 min; the keeping reaction time was about 3 hours and in such a condition , the yield of reaction was 86%.In the part of using 2,3-dimethyl-butene-l as the material, through single-factor-experiments and orthogonal design, the best condition was found: choosing tert-bytyl chloride as supplying electric agent and its quantity was 10. 1g ; reaction time was 4 hours; reaction temperature was 20 ; the quantity of p-cymene was 21.99g; the quantity of cyclo-hexane was 28.65g and the yield of reaction was 70%.In the part of using 2,3-dimetliyl-butene-2 as the materials, through single-factor -experiments , the best reaction condition was found xhoosing tert-bytyl chloride as supplying electric agent and its quantity was 9.52g; reaction time was 4 hours; the quantity of p-cymene was 25.13g; reaction temperature having no affection to the yield of reaction and the yield of reaction was only 18%.Through mechanism analyzing on the process of producing HMT , it was known that because the resistance of isobutylene was small ,the yield of outgrowth in such a reaction system was little and the yield of reaction was as high as 86%. 2,3-dimethyI-butene-2 had the biggest resistance and lowest yield of reaction of 18%. 2,3-dimethyl-butene-l had bigger resistance than isobutylene and more outgrowth than isobutyle's but its yield of reaction could reach 70%. Weighting the yield of reaction and the price , using 2,3-dimethyl-butene-l as the material was suitable for producing HMT in industry production.In the part of producing TONALIDE, through single-factor-experiments , the highest yield of reaction condition was confirmed as: reaction time about 4 hours; reaction temperature about 20 ; the quantity of chlori-acytyl about 10g; the quantity of aluminum chloride 13-15g and the yield of reaction was as high as 90%.
