In this paper, three new inorganic-organic hybrid compounds, 1, 2, and 3, have been hydrothermally synthesized by adjusting reaction conditions and starting materials. We discussed the crystal structures of these three compounds, and further investigated the factors that influenced the architectures of As-V-O and Se-V-O inorganic-organic hybrid subclasses.Compound 1 contains an unusual 2D [V/As/O] network built on [VIVVVAsO19] cluster with the [Cu(phen)]2+ fragments coordinated directly to the inorganic layer. Compound 2 exhibits a novel two-dimensional selenic vanadate network constructed from an unprecedented building block covalently decorated by [Cu(phen)(H2O)2]2+ complex moieties. Compound 3 consists of dimeric copper complex clusters coordinated to hydroxylated phen ligand. Furthermore, these three compounds have been characterized by element analyses, IR, XPS, EPR, TGA and variable temperature magnetic susceptibility study. |
