Processing Technology And Material Properties Of High-nickel-lead-zinc Copper-nickel Alloy Precision Profile

In this paper,the level continuous casting technologies of leaded nickel silver , the working ways from round casting stick to special-shaped wire and its crystal structure and mechanical performance were studied.The results of the experiments of the level continuous casting technologies show that the quality of the round casting stick is of great importance to it' s cold working.the casting temperature, the casting speed and the casting stop/pull time rate etc. all exert influences on its crystal structure and its mechanical performance.lt is difficult to refine the grain-size by chemical refining technology because of its sensitive to the level continuous casting conditions, but 'electromagnetic stirring can vary its crystal structure and improve its mechanical performance . The results of the cold processing and the mechanical performance experiments are as follows: Homogenization annealing can vary the ingot's crystal segregation except Pb and improve its mechanical performance.The longitudinal cracks on the surface of the ingot will occur , if it after cold drawing is annealed. But this problem can be solved by means of varying the cold working methods.On the other hand,if its crystal structure is made of equiaxed grains or disorderly dendritic grains, this phenomenon will not occur.The cold working rate of zinc white copper which contains lead will amount to 40%,if its structure has been working one. Its recrystallization temperature is 400C-500C.The studies of the cold processing ways prove that the ingot's processing ways can adopt the methods of cold drawing + roll pressing, cold rolling and pull rolling. If the semifinished product' s structure has been working structure, cold drawing technology can be adopted. But the drawing of the complicated section special shaped wire must consider processing rate and speed.The results of the production experiments show that the working technologies from round level continuous casting stick to special-shaped wire are feasible . The products we have produced can accord with the customers' demands and they are of high profit.
