Research is carried out on processing waste water and gas containing Co and nitrogen oxides resulted in the process of producing the flame eliminating agent in the propellant of 122mm rocket charge.In the process of disposing the wastes, firstly, the heavy ion collector is prepared from the chaff. The experiment shows that the collector is low in cost and simple for producing. According to the analysis of infrared spectrogram, the stabilizer has extraordinary effect on the quality and properties of product. The following results are indicated from the experiments: (1) In a certain range, alkali quantity affect the xanthate preparation most, And then stabilizer quantity, and CS2 dosage least. (2) The proper operating contitions under the level designed were: alkali: 30mL; CS2: 10mL; stabilizer with 2%: 10mL.(3) There was obvious interaction between stabilizer and CS2,between CS2 and 20%NaOH solution respectively. There was no interaction between stabilizer and NaOH. It is feasible to dispose waste water using xanthate from chaff, the strong points are such as high ion eliminating ratio, rapid reaction speed, easy operated process and in addition, the sediment is very stable and can be separated easily. Moreover the heavy metal can be recycled from the waste residue disposal so as to avoid pollution once again. The effluent water after disposal can reach the standard completely.In the disposal of gases, Polyethylene Glycol (PEG-300) is applied for the first time to absorbing and treating NOx, The results show that the saturated absorption of PEG-300 for NOx were PEG:NO2=1:6.5, and the absorbed liquid appear dark green. This technology is carried out under ordinary temperature and pressure. After being disposal, the content of NOx at the near point was 1.78mg/m3, but the far point was 0.0975mg/m3. This method holds superiority in the disposal of NOx over others, that is, high ratio purification and easily operated process. ...
