Purifying and reusing flotation wastewater of sulfide mine is one of great study tasks which national non-ferrous metal mine must be faced with.It is based on the treatment of flotation wastewater from Nanjing Xinyang Mine Company. In order to solve problems in purifying and reusing flotation wastewater, we study three aspects on base of previous study: 1) analyzing reason of high CODcr in flotation wastewater; 2) demonstrating technics of purifying and reusing flotation wastewater more; 3) optimizing flotation condition and medicament system more to be propitious to purifying and reusing flotation wastewater and improve flotation index. The follow conclusions can be educed.The process of sulfide mine flotation is a complex system. And reasons causing high CODcr in flotation wastewater are many aspects. Types and concentration of collector, pH of mine slurry, and concentration of heavy metals in mine slurry effect CODcr in flotation wastewater. So, more optimizing flotation condition and medicament system not only make for improving flotation index, but also make for lowering CODcr in wastewater to be convenient for reusing wastewater and to predigest purifying it. Adopting dithiophosphates and diethyldithiocarbamates as collector and flotating in lower pH in mine slurry can meet basically above require.Adopting the technics which is described as coagulation-actived carbon adsorption is fully correct. The active technics which is described as coagulation-defoamer can not lower CODcr in flotation wastewater. And side-effect caused by reusing wastewater is great, as restricts improving flotation index more. So, we suggest that dressing-sorks resume the one-time technics of purifying and reusing wastewater. It is very important to lower CODcr in wastewater and to improve more flotation index in particular. If dressing-works couldn't use active carbon expediently, it should purify wastewater in some time minimally in order to prevent from comulating flotation agents, which results in increasing CODcr in wastewater andaffects to improve flotation index.The progeny of this thesis has been successfully applied in dressing-works of Nanjing Xinyang Mining Company and proved to be efficient. Not only CODcr in flotation wastewater is lowered in some degree, but also flotation index is improved more.
