At present fault diagnosis has been paid attention to acquaint especially for great facility. The distributed monitoring fault diagnosis system based on internet is open, knowledge sharing, resources from different developer cooperate to solve the diagnosis problem and avoid exploiting again. So, it presents developing mainstream currently and a period of time for the future.Aim at test-bed of rolling mill, The author have developed a suit of the remote monitoring & fault diagnosis system. This system is a improved C/S mode Remote Monitoring & Controling System, introduced in simplifing truth of the embed system, reducing soft & hardware of the front-computer. The embed computer replaces the front industrial computer, and may distribute many front-computers to fit our needs, so realizing the distributed monitoring & diagnosis on interspace. This distributed monitoring fault diagnosis system is included mainly the following parts: the Far Computer(signal collected system), the Server the Data Servers and the Web Server.Using the network interface facility, The Far Computer connects with the Server, and transmitting data. The originality data delivered by the Far Computer will sort and neaten automatically, and autosave in the corresponding database. The database is including the routine database and the fault info database. These two databases are including the eigenvalue database and the text database respectively.After carrying through the feature infomation extraction in the time-domain , frequency-domain, via the wave analysis, the spectrum analysis, the correlation analysis, the Cepstrum analysis, the envelope strectrum etc, We go along fault diagnosis of equipment. Moreover, predicating the fault' s causation, style and serious degree combined with a fault diagnosis instance.This distriduted monitoring & fault diagnosis system is provided with replant ability, well expansion, better security, strong anti-disturbance. The soft is affluent in the function. Operation is convenient. Its graphs and user interface can guide the operator to complete the operation. The hardware have reasonable configuration. So the system can be used for reference to exploitation secondly.
