Equipment on-line condition monitoring and fault diagnosis systems (ECMFDS) are being applied more and more widely. This thesis takes the rolling mill test-bed as the monitoring object. Having reviewed and analyzed the status quo and developing trend of ECMFDS, it puts forwards the design thoughts of the remote diagnosis center (RDC) architecture. When carries out the technique realization, it divides the whole system into the field monitoring and fault diagnosis system part and remote diagnosis center part.The content of the research work and fruit can be concluded as following:1. It constructs the architecture of the RDC, and the architecture has two main characteristics:a) The distributed architecture based on CORBA. Applying CORBA technique, it encapsulates the field monitoring and fault diagnosis system part so that realizes the remote condition monitoring and remote data visiting, which strengthens the expansibility of the system.b) It adopts the B/S three layers net frame, which makes the middle layer respond the requests of the client and manipulate the data, thus improves the security of the data and the reliability of the service.2. In the field monitoring and fault diagnosis system part, it adopts the multithread technique for data acquisition and processing, and SOCKET for high speed data transmitting; also it adopts the CORBA component to carry through the indistinguishable encapsulation of the systems so that realize the communication between field monitoring and fault diagnosis system part and the RDC part.3. Combining the existing fault diagnosis technique and multimedia technique, artificial intelligence and so on, it develops the RDC, integrating numeric, visualized and intelligentized. It adopts ASP technique for constituing nice network environment, and applies ADO for data visiting, all which improve the efficiency of the system; meanwhile combining CORBA and Soap/Web Service technique to realize the clear-cut B/S model remote data visiting and manipulating between different systems.
