Jinyinhua(Flos Loncerae),derived from the dried flower bud of Lonicera japonica Thunb(Caprifoliaceae),is a commonly used for removing heat and toxic substance .It is widely applied in the treatment of acute heating diseases and epidemic diseases.Based on the traditional experience and modern science researches,a new medicine will be developped,the effective component of which is the total organic acid from the dried flower bud of Lonicera japonica Thunb.Because of the low productive cost ,extencive appiliance and no poison-side effects chronically,the market prospects of this medicine is wide.With the content of chlorogenic acid as index ,this experiment has determined chlorogenic acid in Flos Lonicerae and the Valid part (the total organic acid),a perfect quality standard to assure the effects and satety of the medicine had been established.In this article ,the determination of total organic acid of the extraction is controlled by UV spoctrophotometry ,At the same time the RP-HPLC method for determination of Chlorogenic acid in the extraction of total organic acid is developed for the first time and reviewed with methodolgy.To optimum the extraction prosess of chlorogenic acid in Flos Lonicerae and eastablish standard for quality control ,the optimum extraction was investigated by HPLC.Affect factors to Chlorogenic acid just as extractive temperature, pH Value,extractive solvent,extractive times ,was studied for the first time .Orthogonal test was used to optimum the extract method. The optimum extraction procedures are as follows:Optimum extractive solvent:75%;Solvent volume:10 times of extractive solvent ; Extractive time :0.5 every time hours ; Extractive Number of times:3 times;Exteaction is refined by macro pore resin E.Macro pore resin and solvent Extract were Applicated Combinatedly to get the Valid part ,In which the Weight of the all chiorogenic acid extraction are over 50% of the JINYINHUA extraction.A Science and reasonable Craft process to extract and Separate the all chiorogenic acid extraction were Established and improved. In addition, the effect on virus and inhibition by the all chiorogenic acid extraction were studied , The inhibited effect on virus and of this medicine Proofed.
