Perforating completion technique, as a main well completion method for oil and gas wells, is widely used in the world of petroleum industry, different perforation parameters have different influence on the injectivity of water injection well. In order to assess wellbore damage resulted from perforating operation accurately, determine perforation efficiency, and predict water injectivity under different perforation configurations, In this paper, by adopting the latest theory of this field abroad and home, employing the advanced finite element mathematics analytical method and combining the field production status, the relationship between perforation parameter and water injectivity have been studied. The main contents of this research are as follows:1. The 3D mathematic models have been set up based on the 3D physical models for different perforation configurations and the continuity' equation for fluid percolation in porous media. The corresponding variation equation has also been derived to solve this problem.2. The quantitative results reflecting the effects of perforation and formation parameters on well injectivity of water injection well in sandstone formations have been obtained by rational meshing, the finite element solution method and quadratic regression analysis in orthogonal designing.3. The influence of controlling specifications of water quality on well injectivity has been studied theoretically. The optimal design of system operation parameters and well injection performance have been carried out by mean of the nodal analysis method.4. The software system of optimization design of perforation design and well injectivity prediction has been developed in Windows9X/2000/XP platform. It is very helpful and has important significance to guide perforation optimization design and operating parameter designs for water injection wells.
