We summarized the history, different kinds, preparation of antibacterial and the development direction of antibacterial. Prepared a series of rare-earth nano-powders that have excellent antibacterial quality in this paper. We pay great respects to the most suitable preparing method for the industry applying, and try adding the samples into powder coating. The structure, the constitute and the best craft condition of antibacterial were confirmed by the analysis of FT-IR,UV-vis and Raman. The stability of heat was proved by the data of TG-DTA .The powder appearance, the diameter distribution and the dispersity of the particles were confirmed by the results of TEM. We tested whether the reunite of the particles get obviously improvement by dealing with the dispersant. The results of the antibacterial tests showed that: all the samples have better antibacterial quality. The samples to Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Hay bacillus, Blastomyces albicans show better inhibitory effect, the antimicrobial spectrum more broad and durable quality, are excellent antibacterial. The estimate of security and toxicology to samples proved that it belongs to innocuity reality. The samples take on non-stimulative to skins. We prepared antibacterial powder coatings by adopting adscititious germifuga. The influence on coating's properties is very small after added in the antibacterial powder. The antibacterial powder coatings are consonant with industry criteria on the film coating's adhesive property, mechanics prosperity, chemical resistance, etc. The prepared antibacterial powder coatings can be satisfied with the need of coating vacations. We confirmed the best condition of preparation antibacterial powder coatings by analysis the impact of the accretion of antibacterial quantity to powder coatings and studying the antibacterial effect of powder coatings. The microbiology experiments testified that the powder coatings added with 1.0% antibacterial possess broad antisepsis, and can inhibit the Staphylococcus aureus, Hay bacillus, Escherichia...
