In the paper, theoretical basis of nano self-cleaning technology was discussed, two nano self-cleaning finishing agents (nano soil resistant self-cleaning finishing agent and nano antibacterial self-cleaning finishing agent) were designed by simulating "lotus-effect", dispersity and stabilization of nano-particle was analyzed by STM and zeta potential, and optimum compoment was obtained.In the processing of designing nano soil resistant self-cleaning finishing agent, repellent water surface with lower surface tension was formed by organic fluorine compound, and roughness was increased by nano SiO2 of large specific surface area, so rough surface will be formed with appropriate microstructure. Nano SiO2 was stably dispersed by silane coupler which connects nano SiO2 to organic fluorine compound. And particle diameter of nano SiO2 of finishing agent was in the lOOnm by STM.The process was optimized with orthogonal test and optimum recipe of nano soil resistant self-cleaning finishing agent mainly was: organic fluorine compound: 60g/L; silane coupler: 2 g/L; nano SiO2: 8 g/L; dispersant: 20 g/L. The treated fabric contact angle(with water): 158°, oil repellent grade: 5, after washing the treated fabric contact angle(with water, not ironing or curing): 145°; oil repellent grade: 5-, and that it had a little change on breathability.In the processing of designing nano antibacterial self-cleaning finishing agent, nano ZnO was main material, and antibacterial effect was increased by water-oil repellence with adding organic fluorine compound. Therefore, nano antibacterial finishing agent has not only water-oil repellence but also antibacterial effect, and attain self-cleaning efficiency. Just as well silane coupler can disperse nano ZnO and play a role of "bridging". And particle diameter of nano ZnO of finishing agent was in the 100nm by STM.Optimum process of nano ZnO antibacterial finishing agent was preparated by orthogonal test, the recipe mainly was: organic fluorine compound: 60g/L; silane coupler: 2 g/L; nano ZnO: 8 g/L, contact angle(with water): 165°,oil repellent grade: 5, after washing the treated fabric contact angle(with water, not ironing or baking): 146°; oil repellent grade: 5-, bacteriostasic rate: 89%, and that it had a little change on breathability.Cotton, wool, velveteen fabric was finished with two prepared nano self-cleaningfinishing agents and their water-oil repellence were measured. The results were: the treated fabric contact angle (water): more than 150°, oil grade: 5, This show two nano self-cleaning finishing agents have extensive application.
